TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)
Assistance Request
Kershaw County, SC and Surrounding Areas
We are proud to partner with Kershaw Country Humane Society to offer low cost TNR at just $25 per cat for Kershaw County residents!
If you're not located in Kershaw County, SC, we offer TNR at $50 per cat. These are our costs at the vet, and we are happy to provide the invoices.

For our safety and the safety of veterinary staff, all TNR cats must be in a humane trap. Any person delivering a cat to us or the vet office in a carrier will automatically be charged the friendly spay/neuter rate which ranges from $75 - $130 per cat.

TNR requests are processed in the order received. We are a small 2 person operation, so we can only accommodate 1 or 2 requests/locations per week, depending on the size of cat colony.

TNR Scheduling Update for our partnership with Kershaw County Humane Society:
As of August 30, 2025, we are out several months on TNR requests for Kershaw County residents. This is due to multiple factors beyond our control.
-
Kershaw County Humane Society (KCHS) was without an on-staff vet for two months, which necessitated prioritizing care for their in-house animals . The good news is the new in-house veterinary team is now up and running, and TNR services recently resumed.
-
TNR is limited to one day per week (currently Tuesday - subject to change). This is to allow the KCHS veterinary team to adequately address the vetting needs of the animals at the over-crowded shelter.
-
We are allowed 10 TNR slots each week. This ensures the veterinary staff can safely and effectively perform the TNR surgeries.

We sincerely apologize for the delays and appreciate your patience as we work through the requests in the order they were received. If you are a Kershaw County resident and are interested in out-of-county TNR services through our partner vet in Rock Hill, available at $50 per cat, please indicate your interest when completing the TNR request form. Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience in helping us manage the TNR program effectively!
